Jon Bauer is a husband, father, worship artist, songwriter, teacher, and follower of Jesus Christ. Boasting a tally of 30 Covenant Award nominations from 2005–2012, with five awards from the Gospel Music Association including ‘Male Vocalist of the Year’. Jon’s newest album Forevermore received “Worship Album of the Year” (2012 GMA Canada) was also awarded Contemporary Christian Album of the Year (2012 Independent Music Awards). It was also recognized in 2012 with a Juno Award nomination (Grammy Equivalent) in the category of Contemporary Christian Album of the Year. Bauer’s newest release entitled “Roots of Worship” is releasing July 16, 2013. This indie/folk/worship album produced by Dove Award Winning Producer – Rusty Varenkamp – intertwines some of the most popular choruses and hymns of today with the sounds and styles of some bands like Mumford and Sons & the Lumineers. The new CD includes 10 of Jon’s most loved choruses and hymns as he tours throughout the world
