Repentance is not just a one-time act, but a constant way of refocussing on the Father. Like the father of the prodigal son, He is running to meet us every time we turn back to Him! Repentance is always met with love and that is too good to not sing about. Find the perfect song to round out your setlist here!
Pride destroys relationships. It shows up in a lot of different ways, like criticism, competition, stubbornness, and superficiality. Proverbs 16:18 says, “Pride leads to destruction; a proud attitude brings ruin”(NCV). In the Message paraphrase: “First pride, then the crash — the bigger the ego, the harder the fall.” Download chord charts, lead sheets, and orchestrations for songs and hymns on the theme of pride.
Honoring and celebrating our parents is a Biblical attribute. To honor God is to revere and fear Him. Only the Lord is deserving of such ultimate glory or reverent fear. True honor for God was the basis and model for honoring others, especially parents. Our obedience to God starts with trust and then comes from abiding in the life of Christ rooted in love (John 15:14-15). Loving the Lord is the source of obedience and doing what Jesus commands shows love for him (John 14:15,21; 15:10, 14). Parents Day takes place July 25, 2021. We are apart of God’s precious household, crafted through the honor of being adopted by Him. The church is the extension of His Kingdom, built on the foundation of love and secured by the bones of dependability. As we unify and honor our earthly family, God prepares a place for us in His heavenly household. Here is a list of songs focusing on family.

The process of confession is what aids God in the restoration of His kingdom. He desires to see us made righteously, and asks us to kneel before Him in humble repentance so that we may be sanctified. God is faithful and eager for those who’s hearts reach out to Him in surrender, so now and forever, we confess. Here is a list of songs focusing on confession.

Make Us One is not just a song but a declaration for the body of Christ to be unified as one body. This was always His intention and plan. In John 17 after He prayed for His disciples, Jesus then prayed for “those who will believe” in Him through their word. I find it sobering that the prayer Jesus prayed just before He was betrayed and arrested at Gethsemane was for us to be one as He is one with the Father. For us to function properly as the body of Christ we all must work together in love and unity. In the world today we see so much division. The political, racial, and economic division is all over the news and social media. For the world to truly see the love of Christ, the church must take its place as one body in Him. We must set aside our pride and offences and be made one, “Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.” Colossians 3:12-15 NKJV. We are called to carriers of His glory and to demonstrate His love to the world. We do this by becoming the church that Christ intended, to be made one. John 17:23“I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.” Based on the song Make Us One by Chris Quilala, Ran Jackson, Ricky Jackson, Joshua Silverberg.
