Anastasya Laverdiere is a Canadian worship leader, songwriter, recording artist and writer whose desire is to know God more and make Him known.

Anastasya’s enjoyment of singing and song writing surfaced at a young age which led her to eventually perform her first written song at a high school concert. After hearing first hand how much it had encouraged some people and gave them strength while facing a difficult situation, it solidified in her heart a desire to use the music she’d been given to impact others. She eventually pursued training in music and song writing at college and enjoyed many opportunities to sing and tour.

As a young adult, Anastasya went through a particularly difficult period in her life which involved facing physical health issues, anxiety, and the pain of broken relationships. What she experienced with God and the reality of His presence in her life during this season, would serve as a catalyst to pursue Him more and discover her identity in Him. During this time, writing songs became a way for her to express the response of her heart to the kindness the Father was showing her and to declare truth over her situations. This expression became the creative center of her heart for new songs, many of which developed into congregational worship music that she has had the privilege of releasing into the church.
