The splendor of God is unmatched. He is the creator of the Universe, the King of Kings, the God who alone can do all things. He overcomes as our ultimate authority, and even still, He deems us worthy of all of His love. We stand in admiration because He stands as the pinnacle of everything that is great. Yet often we need to be reminded of the hope we have, as it is easy to get distracted by daily activiities, challenges and hard times. Galatians 4 lays out a gospel understanding of our adoption in that God sent His son, born under the law, so that we who were under the law could be redeemed and have adoption as sons and daughters of the King.
