About
For over 20 years, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound have brought songs of hope to audiences worldwide, becoming Gospel music's premier quartet. Featuring Ernie Haase (tenor), Doug Anderson (lead), Dustin Doyle (lead), and Christopher Taylor (bass), the group consistently tops Southern Gospel charts and has earned four GRAMMY® nominations, multiple Dove Awards, and Gold/Platinum DVDs. They've performed on iconic stages like the Grand Ole Opry, Carnegie Hall, and at major events like NBA games and NASCAR.
Their innovative approach has led to successes such as A Jazzy Little Christmas (2019), which hit the Billboard Jazz Albums chart, and Decades of Love (2022), showcasing their unique arrangements of romantic classics. They've performed globally in countries like South Africa and the Netherlands, where they recorded Live in Amsterdam: A 20th Anniversary Celebration.
Haase, originally the tenor for the legendary Cathedrals, founded Signature Sound in 2003. With Bill Gaither’s support, their 2007 release Get Away Jordan became a breakthrough. The group has since built a close-knit, family-like bond, while Haase’s label, StowTown Records, supports leading Gospel artists. Looking ahead, Haase believes the next chapter for Signature Sound will be even more impactful.
