About
Ed Hogan earned a degree from Florida State University, where he studied music education and composition. He was a high school band director for eleven years before founding EHF Productions, a full‑service music and audio production company. His earliest publications were marching band arrangements, but for over twenty years he has been exclusively involved with every aspect of the production of church music.
Ed has worked with most major church music publishers, making choral arranging, anthem orchestrations, instrumental solo and small ensemble books, full‑orchestra arrangements, and hymnal orchestrations. He is a Finale music engraver and has produced many recordings of church music projects. He was an Instrumental Product Developer for fifteen years for a sacred publishing company and frequently serves as a clinician at reading sessions, workshops, and conferences.
Ed is an ordained elder in his home church, King's Chapel Presbyterian, and is Director of Worship. Ed and his wife, Carol, live in Carrollton, Georgia. They have two daughters and two grandchildren.
