Unmatched by His Kingdom, the opposition of God lays in fires of eternal suffering. Hell is the waiting place of our enemy. However, where fears rise and our hope becomes distant, we are reminded of God’s promise to bring restoration to His people. Nothing will remain without judgment, but all who believe in the Son and follow His will shall be exalted in heaven. This is God’s promise to us. There are many things that we desire, and some of those are healthy things, none should be our greatest desire but God. When anything else becomes our greatest desire it becomes the object of our worship and there is none more worthy than God Almighty. Nothing else can satisfy. David so beautifully said in Psalm 73:25 (ESV)…“Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.”
