The Know Hope Collective – Emerging Voices of Worship Bring Hope and Inspiration
Featuring The Worship Community Posted on March 10, 2011
Released March 1, 2011, this ground-breaking initiative combines worship music with stories of hope and inspiration. The Know Hope Collective is Audio Adrenaline lead singer Mark Stuart and bassist Will McGinnis and some of their favorite emerging voices of worship.
The Know Hope Collective will be an ever-changing group of musicians from a variety of backgrounds who come together to create worship music and share their unique stories.
“The Know Hope Collective is driven from an emerging style of worship and a place of vulnerability,” explains Stuart. “We go on a journey together through the good, bad and ugly to the redemptive side.”
“The first project was birthed out of the failure I went through…being a singer who lost his voice,” Stuart says. “But the next one might be on missional living, orphan care or clean water, wherever God is leading us.”
The project includes videos and links to additional “song story” videos including miraculous stories of hope surrounding the Hands and Feet Project, a ministry founded by Stuart and McGinnis to care for orphans and abandoned children.
The duo founded Hands and Feet in Haiti before the devastating earthquake and often visit the orphanage they helped to build. In fact, Stuart was there when the earthquakes shook the country. As tragic as it was, hope survives.
We’re proud of one of our own TWC members, McKendree Augustas as his song, Attention, was recorded by the Know Hope Collective for this project.
The enhanced cd includes 10 songs, videos in which the band shares their personal stories of hope, and links to additional content including information on the Hands and Feet Project.
